As a horse lover, I recognised that trying to source unique Stable Signage was impossible!
The result? We’re delighted to launch our Stable Plaque Range!
Livery signage can be made specifically made to your requirements. e.g. a stud yard may wish a specific breed of horse, or a livery sign and horsebox trailer with the name or team advertised.
Made from stainless steel they will not rust or tarnish over time. Brass name plates will need to be polished at regular intervals.
Some of our signs can be viewed in our Gallery. Sorry we can’t show them all!
If you'd like Equestrian Signage for your stable, please contact us at info@poseidon-design.co.uk.

We were delighted when specialists in precision oilfield engineering, Black Gold Oil Tools, Altens, Aberdeen approached us to design two corporate plaque signs for their headquarters.
Working closely with Mel Maitland, Managing Director, we designed signage around their logo.
To show the logo off at its best, we decided to introduce different textures and materials as the main features. After much contemplation, it was decided to use stainless steel for the majority of the sign, inlaid with black granite, grey porcelain and brass, to achieve the look and feel that we had in mind.
The company name was cut from black granite but we decided to highlight the word "Gold" in brass. The oilrig and sea were cut from black granite, the sun on the horizon from brass and the clouds from grey porcelain.
Only waterjet technology could have allowed us to work with such a variety of materials in such fine detail with such versatility. No other process could have achieved this!
Mel was delighted with the outcome, as his comments will testify. "100% just exactly what I had envisaged" and "absolutely fantastic" sums it up completely!
One of the signs has pride and place in the reception area, while the other is outside on the entrance on the wall.
If you need a new corporate sign, please contact us at info@poseidon-design.co.uk.

Designers, sculptors and architects throughout the UK, Commonwealth and worldwide were invited to submit expressions of interest in the project in early January 2006.
A memorial to King George VI already exists on the north side of The Mall between Marlborough Road and Admiralty Arch, created in 1955. It is envisaged that the existing site will be modified to include a memorial to Queen Elizabeth.
We had to ensure that the proposed memorial would have sufficient presence whilst being sympathetic to the surrounding environment. Any materials proposed for the site would need to be in keeping with those already existing in the area, such as Portland stone, granite, bronze and cast iron.
The process of finding a project designer is two-fold. First, designers were invited to submit an expression of interest in taking part in a design competition. After this a shortlist of potential designers will be drawn up, who will be invited to submit their schemes.
The initial selection panel will comprise: The Keeper of the Privy Purse, The Director of the Royal Collection, The Private Secretary to The Prince of Wales, and The Director of the Property Section, Buckingham Palace.
Selection of the winning design will be made by a selection committee chaired by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, grandson of The Queen Mother.
